Guidewire Developer

Job Description:

• 3+ years of Integration experience in Guidewire Implementations for Policy Center/Billing Center
• Experience in Property & Casualty insurance domain.
• Sound experience with Inhouse & 3rd party Integration patterns development
• Experience with continuous integration and code quality tools (GIT, Bitbucket, Maven and Jenkins)
• Experienced in connecting external systems using standard Guidewire API’s/Plug-ins
• Strong knowledge in Guidewire (Policy, Claims or Billing) Product data model entities and relationship.
• Clear and thorough understanding of Guidewire Architecture, Design, and key functional concepts
• Hands On experience in Relational Database and Data Modeling
• Experience in SQL/PLSQL programming and queries optimization
• Experience in Java/J2ee (EJB, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Web Services, JMS, JPA).
• REST API (RAML, Json), SOAP Services (WSDL, XML, XSD)
• Experience in configuration/integration and Guidewire Implementations in Claims Policy Center/Billing Center
• Analyze business requirements, conduct technical impact analysis to identify key components for solutions delivery
• Review and provide input into Architectural designs, requirements, and test cases.
• Agile Methodology experience using Jira, Confluence etc.

• Implement the overall technical vision for projects, programs, and systems, keeping in mind cross-functional impacts, integration across the organization and architecture rationalization.
• Mentor and train project team members and peers, both internal and vendor partners to enforce development guidelines and best practices lead change by influencing and educating Business, IT and sourcing partners.
